Full Lineup Released for the 2019 Ocala Harvest Fest
OCALA, Fla. (Oct. 3, 2019) – The City of Ocala will host the Fifth Annual Harvest Fest Music and Food Truck Festival Saturday, Nov. 9th from 1 to 10 p.m. at Tuscawilla Park located at 500 NE Sanchez Ave.
This year’s Harvest Fest will feature two stages of live musical performances. Co-headlining the festival is Grammy-nominated, country artist Cassadee Pope and country hip-hop artist Blanco Brown. Headlining the second stage is legendary reggae band, The Wailers. The lineup also includes performances by Apollo LTD (Alternative Pop), Flow Tribe (Funk/Rock), The Foxies (Indie Pop), Emily Hackett (Country) and The Artisanals (Folk/Rock).
Cassadee Pope is best known for her hit singles “Take You Home,” “If My Heart Had A Heart,” and “Wasting All These Tears,” as well as her Grammy nominated duet with Chris Young, “Think of You”. Blanco Brown recently hit #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart with his country trap song, “The Git Up”, and he’s been named one of Billboard’s “7 Country Acts to Watch in 2019”.
From 1972 to 1980, Bob Marley & The Wailers recorded, toured and performed. Since 1981, Aston “Family Man” Barrett and Wailer’s original guitarist Donald Kinsey have carried on the mission to "keep The Wailers together" - just as Bob requested, by bringing reggae to the forefront of the world’s stage.
In addition to a world class festival lineup, the event features some of Central Florida’s most popular food trucks as well as an artisan market.
Attendees are encouraged to donate canned food to Project Hope for a chance to meet a 2019 Harvest Fest headlining artist. All donations collected will benefit Project Hope and will be distributed to families in need within the Ocala community during the holiday season.
